The initiative “Better Image of AI” is focused on the visuals used to illustrate Artificial Intelligence in media. Certain undesirable trends exist today, which include:

• Robotics and Antropocentrism (robots that look like people, robot and human brains)
• Clear bias towards clear skin tones (white robots)
• Objectification of the female body (white robots with boobs)
• Religious implications (god-like finger touching)
• Fearsome (evil AI, Terminator)

Given the recent rise of diffusion models, we can use AI to generate better images of AI ;) Thanks to Stable Diffusion. Made up a few prompts, and produced the following images, which are free to use under CC-BY license. Prompts for each category are included for your benefit.
